I think everyone is just praying that he fails at Q School TBH. Would make the Pro Tours end ludicrously late if he went on a run.
hes not that slow anymore based on what we saw at the wdf worlds, no slower than some of the other current slow tour players

There's no blanket ban on Russians and Belarusians, although I would imagine it's difficult for them to get over to England and Germany (plus Koltsov himself was suspended by the EADC at some point last season)

These are the same players that moaned last year about the scheduling and not doing Q-School to prepare for the 2023 Lakeside.

One year later with that done and dusted, they still don't show up.

I hope your right but I do wonder if having a tiny stage at Lakeside and not even playing with his darts (he lost them) played a part also in that quicker pace. Almost certainly will qualify for a ET this year even without a card so I guess we shall see.

Not many slow players left on your thankfully anymore Meikle the most notable exception.

Cracking little players on that list. Baker played well in Modus last year, though on the challenge tour he picked up £225, which is because he barely bothered. I would guess he's just not that committed, I really enjoy watching him though

Right forgive me for maybe sounding thick lol but my memory is going now lol, remember it's been a year since the last Q School so how does this work, is it the winner of each day that gets the tour card or is there a preliminary round the first couple of days.

I did see the list on Dartconnect earlier and saw a fair few Scots listed including Ross Montgomery who I will be surprised if he gets a tour card but you never know. I also saw 2 I completely forgot about in Ryan Murray and William Borland who's brother (I presume) is also listed :O.

Really looking forward to this now and also interacting with you lovely peeps but most likely at this time of night as that's when I browse the Internet due to college and work commitments 😀.

Anyone know how this compares to previous years?
'Over 850' last year it says here. There should be slightly more than that this year once the Stage 2 byes are added to the numbers above.

https://www.pdc.tv/news/2023/01/06/2023 ... -confirmed
Anyone got the ages of UK entrants? :D

Youngsters Thomas Banks, Thomas Coates and Jenson Walker are 3 of the better known ones coming through. Tavis Dudery another along with Daniel Astbury and Adam Paxton. Lewis Gurney and Jacob Gwynne.

I fancy Ted Evetts, Joe Croft, Willie Borland, Daniel Astbury to reach the 2nd stage minimum. 4 solid players with different levels of experience chasing the same goal of a tour card. None of them are here for CT entry.

Local player Jamie Atkins' stats are as good as anyone's in the vault right now and he is primed to go. Stable mate Danny Lauby is totally match sharp. Keeping them off my list but very hopeful they both make the 2nd stage.

Of others to make it through to 2nd stage: George Killington, Adam Mould, Shane McGuirk, Jim McEwan and Scott Taylor.

Jack in the box Tommy Morris could be interesting to mark for. As would Richie Burnett who returns from the main tour along with Kevin Burness. Other over 50's include Colin Osborne, forum fav Kevin Painter and local players Muffin Man and Mark McGeeney. Plus James Richardson, the legend John Part, Robert Thornton. Darren Webster, Jim Walker. The list goes on. Also Matchplay champion Scott Waites.

Fallon Sherrock and Rachel Brooks are the only 2 ladies listed.

Forum Number 1 Alex Spellman (he's tee total too) surely makes the 2nd stage 🎯👊

I've mentioned half the field? Who's your fancies? Any unknown locals ripping it up? 3 mornings to go...and here comes more rain

Rob, a couple of them are already going to be in stage 2 automatically. Anyone that lost their tour card starts in stage 2, so Evetts, Killington etc.
