Still can't believe they wiped Greatbatch from history, the bastards. Funny though, I do like it.

Gotta go now but it's a decade since the Olympics opening ceremony clashed with the Matchplay. Which session was that? I can't remember what I did. All I remember of the ceremony is Mr Bean... what did you do?

If I remember right, the 2012 World Matchplay spread out the first round with 4 sessions over 4 days, and had 2 sessions on the Friday for the quarter finals (the day of the Olympics opening ceremony). The evening session that clashed with the opening ceremony was Phil Taylor beating Andy Hamilton 16-11, and James Wade beating Michael van Gerwen 16-13.

Stompé candid about marriage: 'I Don't have much to say at home'

Co Stompé was last week's guest during the World Matchplay as an analyst at Viaplay. There, The Matchstick made a remarkable confession.
Stompé was asked if he would follow darts if he wasn't a guest in the Viaplay studio, but just sat at home on the sofa. "Well, if I get the chance I will," said Stompé. Why, the presenter wanted to know? "Yes, I'll just confess it, I don't really have much to say at home. We have three TVs and they are often all occupied by my wife."
