Re: Boxing
AJ was terrible for 5 rounds or so and fought petrified and when he actually had a go he almost dropped Dubois other two wins don't impress me much to be honest, one obese yank mess and the Croatian looked shite vs zhang and Joycey.
I think Dubois gets stopped again, fairplay if he wins though, I'll definitely give him credit.

He does need to be fighting better though. Warren has implied he would put him in with Bakole.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 4:44 pmIndeed.
He's more than capable of stepping up in class too.
A step up for Moses would be someone like Dave Allen/ David Adeleye. He would likely then beat them, then someone like Hughie Fury, who has a decent chin and is durable.

Re: Boxing
I agree with Senna, the hype is too much to be fighting the likes of feather fisted fury and journeyman level Allen.
Stop the hype or step up. Sink or swim. He's young enough to bounce back if it goes tits up if he's good enough.

Why would Hughie Fury be a waste of time fight?
Fury is durable and can take a punch, he is also awkward so could likely frustrate Moses. This would be a fight where he is having to deal with an awkward style and someone who is durable.
This would be a great learning curve fight.
Both 3 opponents Ive mentioned are still better than anything Moses has fought to date.

Re: Boxing
I wouldn't watch fury if he was fighting in my back garden mate that's the problem I have with it.
Everything you said is right but as a viewer I have zero and I mean zero interest in it.

Re: Boxing
The fight would be more a case of what could Moses do though, he has to step up.
Another one which would be interesting is a fight against Fabio Wardley. Two big punchers.

Now your talking mate, I'd watch that or the guy he's fighting in two weeks time, he looks decent.

Re: Boxing
Fury was inactive for 3 years and has only this past year returned fighting at a low level. Wach was also meant to have a good chin, as he took Clarke, Whyte and Lerena the distance, yet it didn't hold up against Itauma.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 9:40 pmsennafan24 wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 9:00 pmAllen, Adeleye and Fury would be wastes of time.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 8:29 pmHe does need to be fighting better though. Fury was never that good when he was relevant either. An ancient Povetkin beat him easily.
It would be better for Itauma to fight Wallin next then Bakole.

Besides, they are training partners, so it's unlikely to happen.

Re: Boxing
Wallin was a disgrace vs old delboy, not sure he deserves another payday after than performance.
Can definitely see that happening though, wallin is another I can't stand watching, barely throws.

I think the Wallin fight is a sensible step up. It's at least a name people know who has recently boxed world ranked opposition.
But really, I think Moses is ready for Bakole and the like now. I'd think he'd piss it against them.

Why do you think he is ready for someone like Bakole now based on the low level opposition he has been fighting?sennafan24 wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 10:03 pmI think the Wallin fight is a sensible step up. It's at least a name people know who has recently boxed world ranked opposition.

I’ve not claimed Hughie Fury was great ( although I do think he could have got the nod against Parker)
Edit - Fury was inactive for 2 and a half years and has fought 4 times since April last year, albeit against low level opposition.

Povetkin looked like crap before he caught Whyte in their first meeting (I never rated Whyte anyway)HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 10:12 pmThe same Povetkin who in his fight previous to fighting Fury challenged Joshua for his belts and who after Fury sparked out Dillian Whyte.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 9:53 pmFury was inactive for 3 years and has only this past year returned fighting at a low level. It's a myth that Fury should have got the nod against Parker. It was a draw at best for Fury.
Moses lamps that version of Fury. He decimates the current version. He's ready for better opposition.

Moses is certainly promising, but to throw him in with a Bakole now would be madness. I think Bakole is overrated by the way.

3. Bakole is more hype than substance. Billy Nelson has done an excellent job of creating the myth that he's a modern day Foreman.
