No chance either can win a legitimate world title, or make as much money boxing anyone else.
I would like to see Eubank at least have another crack at a legitimate world title. He would be the underdog at this stage in his career, but at least you know he would leave it all out there.
He would have always been the underdog, unless he was matched with a very weak champion.
I think he was favourite against Groves. He beat De Gale when De Gale relinquished his world title so he could take the money against Eubank JNR.

And was soundly beaten by Groves. Perception lagged behind reality, hence the oddsmakers favouring Eubank. Same thing happened with Usyk and Joshua.

DeGale was shot to pieces when Eubank beat him. He would have been the definition of a "very weak champion".

No, no, no Eddie Hearn says Connor Benn was world class last night, oh and he is now the peoples
Champion 🤣
Eubank being shot and dehydrated flattered him greatly.

Crawford, Ennis, Ortiz, and Madrimov wouldn't break a sweat against him.
I don’t think Eubank JNR is shot but certainly on the decline. A shot fighter wouldn’t have been able to summon up what he did last night. I do accept that at times Eubanks timing was off and his legs had gone, but he then stood in the pocket and traded and generally got the better. Early on in the 12th I thought Eubank was going to get the stoppage.
For all out action I can’t think of a better 12th round I’ve ever seen.

He still has heart, that is for sure.

But he would be found out at a higher level.

De Gale was world champion then lost it then regained it but rather than take lower purses, gave up his belt for the Eubank JNR fight. Eubank actually beat him up, now I’m not suggesting it was the best version of De Gale, but he wasn’t considered shot prior to the fight.
Groves won the fight without doubt but it wasn’t a walk in the park. Eubank showed his limitations that night.
The judges scorecards were,
117-112 ( too wide )
116-112
115-113

1. Yes he was. It was known that DeGale was cashing out.

2. It was 8-3 going into the final round, in which Groves had shoulder trouble. Either way, Groves clearly won and Eubank didn't look good at all.

Again, there is no evidence that Eubank was ever elite level or good enough to beat a strong champion for an elite level belt.

Moment of the night for me was seeing senior turn up. I admit to having a lump in my throat. Eubank Junior looked very emotional on his ring walk.

Not technically great but shit loads of determination. Eubanks legs look like they had gone, but he showed top bollocks the way he dug in.
We don't know if his legs are gone. He was weight drained with the rehydration clause. He looked a shell of a man at both weigh-ins.

If he fights under normal circumstances and looks the same, it's probably time to hang them up.

Usyk has said he wants 2 more fights. Whilst I think he will beat DD I think it will be a lot harder this time.
If/when he beats DD again, I reckon he should relinquish his belts and fight Jake Paul for an obscene amount of money and laugh all the way to the bank and retirement.

I'd rather he had retired. He indeed has fuck all to prove.

Itauma is the future once Usyk retires. It's a shame they will probably never square off with one another.

He's had some good wins since, but he's been either roughed up or rocked during all of those wins.

Usyk by late stoppage or wide margin on points unless father time catches him.

+1

Inb4 HJ claims that Dubois is better than peak Mike Tyson and that Eubank Jr would beat mid-90s Roy Jones.
