Shares the same language as them, being an Austrian. Doesn't really matter to them if he's from Austria or Germany in that sense.in the gravy wrote:The German crowd like Suljovic eh.

Good riddance to clogger King. Mensur is just lucky that the sudden onset of excruciating back pain stopped Merv from playing his A game.

Re: Euro Tour 9 -October 16-18, Glaspalast, Sindelfingen.
Have to say this has been an amazing comp so far, probably the best Euro Tour event yet, in quality/high standards at least.
Look at all those 100+ averages, 14 in total so far before the quarterfinals, including three 110+ averages and almost a fourth at 109.7 - with those four highest averages being in two games of absolute top quality where the well-established MvG and RvB are respectively taken out by qualifiers Suljovic and Cullen. So two players hit 110+ averages and lost their games, and two more players hit 100+ averages and lost their games as well. The games have generally been close as well, with a fair amount of 6-4 and 6-5 games for the requisite excitement and drama. And there has been a good deal of upsets, most notably MvG going out early, breaking the comp wide open.
Hopefully the final night will keep up the same standards from the rest of the comp.

Rod Harrington was right, you do need a 100 average to win in the PDC.

Re: Euro Tour 9 -October 16-18, Glaspalast, Sindelfingen.
what a brilliant day so far it has been for me
After a lie in this morning with the wife, had a nice breakfast, settled down to watch the darts.
Not only did some of my favorite players win, but enjoyed it more knowing oompa loompa was no where in sight and out of the comp.
Cullen then upsets the mushrooms all over the net with his honest and true comments on the state of the bdo.
Oche and the others seething only makes it funnier.
Add in the fact Jimmy the Twit is banned and has been a wonderful afternoon.....roll on this evening, as I tuck into a lovely home cooked roast, watch some quality darts, a spot of tv after that, and then bed with the wife.
Let the seething continue

Thanks JC. That read was almost as funny as a Joe Cullen interview.
