2022 DPA ProTour season confirmed for February start

Details have been confirmed for the 15-event 2022 DPA ProTour season, which will begin in February and feature five treble-header weekends.

The DartPlayers Australia season will see events continue to be played at interstate venues, with five locations hosting the early rounds before the last 32 onwards in each event compete remotely down to a winner.

Each tournament will feature a round-robin event in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria, from which players will progress to the last 32 (places awarded pro-rata based on final entries for in each State).

The knockout stages from the last 32 onwards will feature live streaming of selected matches through PDCTV for all subscribers worldwide from all 15 DPA ProTour events during 2022.

Each tournament offers $4,000 in prize money, with the final DPA Order of Merit winner securing a place in the 2022/23 Cazoo World Darts Championship.

Entry costs $35 per event through the DPA website. Event Four onwards will be open only to DPA Tour Card holders.
