If price wins he will be bang in line to punt Mvg off the top of the pro tour oom. Im guessing wright did it when he was at his peak in 2017?
Having looked at the 2017 Euro Tour, that doesn't appear to have happened at any point. The only times Wright was #1 seed was when MVG didn't enter.
It seems like the last different person to be top of the pro tour was GAndo of all people in early 2015

What strange reality was it where Gary could actually be bothered with the Pro Tour?!
If Smith ends his title drought, it will be 597 days between winning the Shanghai Masters and the Belgian Darts Championship. So that means it'll be taken off the calendar in 2021 never to be defended

Same old collapsing Smith by the look of it. 2-1 up, misses darts for 3-1 and 3-2 and then implodes.

Mensur let the side down
Way off the pace of the others
Mensur's been in decline for quite a while. Such is the gap between 12th (where he's at) and 13th though it's going to be some time before he falls out of the top 16. Not defending any UK Open money next weekend if I remember rightly, but is of course defending the £55k at Blackpool in the summer.
He's been shit for a while. Always a risk with his idiosyncratic throw. Hope he comes back into form soon, because some of those behind him (e.g. Snackpot) look like they don't give a fuck and I don't want that to be rewarded.

I wonder what exactly is going on in van Gerwen's head. Blame the new darts all you want, but he doesn't seem in the right frame of mind to win like he is accustomed to.
Second child on the way, had trouble conceiving went through lots of IVF so bigger things on his mind no doubt.

I won't say this too loudly.
But I actually like Steve West.
I like watching him but he's up there with Wade for the worst, most petulant loser on tour. Always has gripe.

Once upon a time MVG did a good impersonation of Price , you know like it mattered, to much money now maybe.
Rather Price won than Smith, and i am an Anderson fan lol

Biggest thing for Mensur is that without the PL to worry about, he says he's going to do all the ProTour events, and will be seeded highly all year on the floor and in Europe. Should keep him in the top 16, though the likes of Duzza, Jeffrey and Dobey (if the latter two get back to form this year) will be breathing down his neck
