Takaaki Nagakami will return to MotoGP for the first time this year as a wildcard for Honda.

Somkiat Chantra will miss the French GP due to arm pump surgery.

Marc Marquez destroys the all time lap record, just for Fabio Quartararo to one up him! Absolutely insane performance on the Yamaha. Quartararo gets pole position in front of a home crowd!

Manu Gonzalez and Maximo Quiles take pole position in Moto2 and Moto3.

Quiles as a rookie coming back from injury is incredibly impressive. This is only his second ever Moto3 race I think.
