Also, with Thornton likely losing his TC, there will be 18 players left who have had their Tour Card since the introduction. Most of them are also still high up, with only Pipe and Klaasen outside the top 34.

I like Baker, Rowby and Thornton so hope they can pull a rabbit out the hat or if not get their cards back straight away at Q school. None of the others much of a loss in my eyes.

Baker is in a decent position, win a match at the Worlds (which he's almost certainly qualified for now) and he *should* be fine. Rowby-John is just £250 outside of the Worlds spots at the moment via the ProTour, if he gets in he'd be in a good position too (and I wouldn't count out the possibility of him being invited if they can't get the Central European qualifier on), especially if he wins a game. Thornton needs either a big push in the Winter Series, or it's the PDPA for him where even if he does get through it, he'd be 'unseeded' in the first round

Kuivenhoven unable to strengthen his position, but he has two more TV events at least to earn more money. Kleermaker of course is a first year tour card holder and therefore isn't in danger of losing his tour card any time soon, but a win against Cross increased the likelihood of him fucking shit up for one unfortunate jobber...

First two in ok positions still then. Thornton i'd save last of the three anyway as he's more nostalgia than a chance of doing much in the future.

Rowby John is, was and always will be a complete jobber. Still remember this effort in the 2015 Euros Last 16.

John Henderson 10 (84.38)
Rowby John Rodriguez 2 (73.43)

5 years on and that remains his best result in a Major.

He's probably good enough to get through Q School but that's about it.

Possibly so but looking at the names from say 50 down i'd rather have him than most of those.

I really hope McGeeney gets passed by at least 4 players below him.

From the ones that didnt make it, I wouldnt mind Jim Williams, van der Wal, Verbeck and Doets. Maybe even Mitchell just for the hilarity it will cause here.

Dennant, Collins, Rafferty, Taylor and a million times Burnett can bugger off.

It would be interesting to see how Jimbob would do..
I would like to see Maddog Cammie get a card, but cannot see it happening.

Nearly time to write off a few names.

Schindler, Edgar, Thornton and Cheato some of the names we may confirm to be leaving us tomorrow barring winning the worlds qualifier and winning a game there.

Edgar has been on borrowed time for two years to be honest. Last year he won the qualifier and the year before he was near the bottom of the 32 Ally Pally qualifiers. Granted he's improved this year standard wise but it looks too little, too late

In fact he was at the very bottom of the ProTour qualifiers, getting in because Cadby couldn't make it. Drew the short straw by having to play Darius, but he didn't play well, his form over the last two years has been very much that of someone scraping the top 64

No idea how Jamie Hughes is so high. Every time I've watched him in the last year since Czech Open he's been shite except for the first game at the Europeans.
