I think it should be Warren, Williams, 2 women and the other 4 places going to PDC players. And scrap the fucking qualifiers for good.

Spot on. Warren, Williams and Suzuki plus the winner of the women's qualifier. That's sufficient and has a ring of reality. 4 spots total.

The PDC floor qualifier will obviously remain but dumping that is a nice thought too, although it never turns out to be as catastrophic as we fear (does it?).

The Grand slam is one of the big 5 events, alongside the worlds, Matchplay, Premier league and the Grand Prix. It’s a great event

Might have the UK Open ahead of it, but agreed, despite the presence of an organisation which has seen better days even post-split, and despite the infuriating floor qualifier, it's a serious tournament. Anything where it's best if 31 legs to win an event, they don't just hand it to you

I usually enjoy this one even with the BDO shit being invited. But this year I agree with Tommo. BDO haven't had much to offer in the last several years, a player or two. hence why the women invitation was given as it created a side show more interesting than most of the BDO participants. Inviting 2 women ok. 4 is stupid. It is no longer a sideshow or something unique. It will just be a time suck. For years PDC have beer been trying to cram women in this thing. It hasn't gone well. Rember Bromberg and Wright a disaster those games were torture to watch. That is what your going to get if add more women. Sure a game or two will be competitive because of men shitting their pants.
