His comments about them showing the matches BBC dont show got me curious.
Will they show what is normally on the red button ?
Will it be live or shown in its entirety later ?
I did bring it up, you clearly didn't read my post and i feel very hurt.

Quite a coup getting this interview. And although Olly is clearly a very old man and should retire he seems awright and doesnt deserve some of the abuse Iv been reading about him.

Being honest Jack I think I could have pushed him a bit more but I simply couldn't bring myself to go after a man nearly as old as my parents. How wrong would that be?

He's alright in my book and as hard as doing the interview was I think it came out ok.

He seemed quite frail, would of been a bit tight giving him grief, could well be one of his last interviews. Ab interview with another, slightly younger, top BDO official / PDC boy would be nice to hear. WOuld love to hear a PDC official grilled on their use of unregulated darts boards, that would be a world exclusive.

Behave Jack. I can't say who else I've gone after in case it doesn't come off but hopefully there'll be more from the top table of both

If you spoke to a PDC official would you mention the fact they use unregualated boards and that under the terms of the tomlin order they should conform to WDF spec?

I may ask why there's no rule regarding board dimensions but it really is a non topic

really? a question i would love to be asked is: "Since the introduction of the Unicorn Eclipse Pro in 2005 we have seen averages and 9 darters sky rocket; Do you feel the lack of regulations regarding scoring area size is potentially misleading fans of the sport and also demeaning such once great feats such as 100+ averages and 9 dart finishes?"

It's a valid, but agenda loaded question.

I doubt anyone, other than those that are driven by it, feels cheated.

The people who I have seen banging on about scoring area size are the same people who claim averages don't matter. Makes no sense other than trolling.

Indeed Skweezit. Were we to get a chance to talk to BH etc I'm sure we'd come up with much better topics

Good to see the interview has attracted members over from DF.
You do know Jack the reason there has been no interviews on DF since the split is because all the prior ones were the work of MH, now that he is no longer associated with the cesspit the days of interviews on there is over.

That's not true Gaz, Rout got the majority and I recovered a load from what remained of the old database. There's still more that could be recovered if they want to but I aint doing it, it took shit loads of time and effort.

well rout is more concerned about sucking up to players for free passes for himself and his ocd brother.
As usual the scruffy one only in it to see whats in it for him., bullshit people that its for the good of the board.

Antway, the interview you done has attracted interest on other forums and thats a good thing, if it entices more people over here the better.
Long may they continue

An interview with Olly will always attract interest from anyone who loves darts to be honest. Whatever anyone thinks of the conduct and the content of the interview this is the first time he's done a live interview with a forum, our forum.

I'm bloody proud of not only this one but the one's we've done already and I'll be proud of the one's we've got coming up. Talking about stuff live that real darts fans want talked about and with people right in the mix.
