Re: Adrian Lewis
Arguably one he lost. Matchplay semi final 2013 against MvG, was 10-10 at one point and absolutely insane.Malanax wrote:Any nominations for his greatest match?

Re: Adrian Lewis
His best performance? His near 110 average in the 2014 UK Open final deserves a mention. As does his performance in the final of the 2011 PDC Worlds, where he beat Gando 7-5 in a cracking game.
This is probably his most famous match though.

They had another belter at the 2013 Worlds, where Adi missed match darts IIRC.

Re: Adrian Lewis
Good pick.
I recall Wade's doubling against him at the 07 Matchplay was insanely good.

Perhaps.
Draftgate would certainly be up there though. As would his 2006 clash with Manley.

He will be back for sure. If only Modus or in 2035 for Seniors we will see more classics from Ade.

Since his drop in form I would say his most famous/infamous game was when he shoved that player in the floor event, Justica wasn’t it?

Re: Adrian Lewis
I can’t ever see him getting anywhere near to his best. You might see the odd event here and there where he goes deep, but he lacks any consistency to be at the top end of darts nowadays.Smithy1412 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 22, 2023 9:48 pm He may be successful again yet. Re: Adrian Lewis
he actually had a much better year last year than the year before. i see the sun have reported it as taking time off for a private matter, i also saw someone mention on facebook his wife being ill but could be rubbish
suppose the private matter could be complete loss of interest/confidence in darts
