Rate is probably the wrong word tbf. I just think defenders and Keepers get overlooked when it comes to greatest debate. I don't think with football or team sport in general you can say 1 person is the best.

The Messi v Ronaldo debate effectively comes down to who the individual likes more there are others players from the same modern era who are probably just as important as them who never get a mention the likes of Iniesta and Xavi were just as important as Messi at Barcelona.
