That was an experience I wouldn't want to go through again. On the stage with nowhere to hide and my hand hanging off. The bloke celebrated each leg thinking he was Gezzy Price as he turned looking straight at me with his fist clenched. I only had to suffer him 5 legs as I stood my ground staring ahead thinking what a belI. I marked Wayne Jones match then asked the medic to chop my hand off. Gonna rest it now until I get advise from the physio. Could be another retirement looming. Not cutting it with a patchwork body and regular 60+ averages - I need putting to seed. Better still, Shoot me mother fuckers!!!

Hey! I didn't know it was filmed let alone live! I'd have kept my black SLF darts shirt on instead of the red SLF polo shirt and gelled my hair
A few things happened before and during the match. The first being the bull up. I was changing a stem and expected the marker to say bull up and my opponent to shake my hand. All I saw was him walking to the board. I wasn't sure and never asked as no one said anything so I purposely threw at doubles. The marker then said it's for the bull. My opponent said have a go at the bull. I had no idea what he'd hit. I threw a 25. He stepped forward without a handshake or murmur and threw at the 20's. He must have hit the bull, thanks for letting me know.
During the match he'd over celebrate a winning leg as I previously posted. He cottoned on I was throwing fast and slowed up retrieving his darts Scotty style, so I stood back and waited until he'd walked past me. Twice during the match I had running repairs but overall it was one I was never in.
My preparation for the day ahead was very good and just like days of old, but mistakes were made between my matches - You should always learn from your losses. Health issues aside (I've decided no more throwing darts until I see the physio as it might only be a repetitive strain that I keep activating. I can't help but think it's connected to those 5 days of continuous touch screen marking those pdc events.)
The Seniors was a good weekend and an eye opening one. It's given me plenty of things to work on should I persevere with my 60's+ jobbing mode. The balm oil is working wonders on my back. Just the hand to mend, my mind went long ago. I'll post a separate thread of my time on the road from Thursday thru Sunday.
Some already think I'm not all there? Wait until you read about Saturday after the darts, and Sunday morning. Something you couldn't make up, has to be true moments
