Anagram of lame shit. That's the HG Wells one isn't it? There's plenty worse than it.

Monday 3rd March 1997.
The 4th series of Goodnight Sweetheart begins on BBC1. I'm gathering that both female leads have changed.
There is a new series of Pot Black on BBC2 at 5.30pm. A seniors edition. John Spencer is in it.

Friday 5th March 1993.
I like when Doctor Who makes a strange appearance in the 90s. I think I watched this airing. Hmm. Very likely.
BBC2 at 7.15pm, episode 3 of Caves of Androzani. Featuring the final cliffhanger with Davo as the Doctor.

That evening's cliffhanger is one of the best ever.
The vertical lines effect that the Doctor sees on the screen at the start of the clip is what he will see again when he regenerates. He's ready to regenerate right here, but he's fighting it so he can save Peri.

Saturday 7th March 1992.
33 years ago today. We find ourselves in a 7.50pm war on this Saturday night. Columbo on BBC1 versus Murder She Wrote on ITV.
Elsewhere it is FA Cup quarter-final day. Liverpool will win this season's cup, beating Sunderland 2-0 in the final.

Toy windmill.
I think of Creek much like Columbo in that I'm not aware of feeling there was a 'golden era' or whatnot. It sounds like you have one for Creek.
