Billy hopefully then could do without Dartitis Asp on finals night.
Finals night without Mr Brightside. What will the thick southerners sing along to
Probably chant something about Yaya Toure if history is any indicator.

just me bein honest but pl doesnt tell us who is best player. bunting won lakey which littler and mvg didnt. cross couldnt even qualify. a proper darting setting like lakey shows us the best players not leisure centres or big city buildings

You are correct. The PL doesn't tell us who the best player is. But because Lillter didn't win it doesn't mean he wouldn't smash Mcguirk in an exhibition

What other event overplays it's hand like this?
You wouldn't play an ashes test every week for 17 weeks.
Liverpool v Everton twice a week every week, Wednesday and Saturday all winter.
Removes all anticipation

This is my main issue with it. I don't want to watch Luke vs Luke every 2 weeks. I want those games to be in major tournaments in the latter stages and to actually mean something.

Back when there were hardly any TV events such games were an occasion.

While it’s selling tickets and the players like it, nothing is going to change.

It isn’t for the geeky fans like us, it’s for casual fans to see the players they’ve heard of.
