Very happy for Puha, a likeable character and a mean player. I presume he's coming over here, let's hope he doesn't have any, ahem, skeletons in the closet like a certain other Antipodean!

Jules, Radek and to a lesser extent Mario weren't good enough in 2022, but certainly were in 2023, if they can keep that form up, they are very welcome returnees

Never heard of Geeraets, and it seems even the Dutch nerds on Twitter hadn't neither, but it very much looks like we'll get to know him over the next two years. Is it too much to ask that he become the next Josh Rock?

Reus would be another welcome addition, aside from his fabulous World Cup showing, he's been getting good results on the Nordic/Baltic Tour and is still fairly young

We know all about Plaisier and Landman and Kist (albeit Kist is much more precariously placed), more than good enough to compete on tour

Haven't seen much of Sedlak, but he's got a Challenge Tour title and has had some good results on the Euro Tour, would like to see more of him

The Finnish Dinosaur isn't even a standout on the Nordic/Baltic Tour, and hasn't put up good numbers, you suspect he'll fall tomorrow

I wouldn't be mad keen on Mol, he was well off the pace when he had his card, although he is still youngish

Wenig has been there or thereabouts for a few years, would be interesting to see him finally win a card. Would also be interested to see what Worlds qualifier he'd be eligible for considering the Super League will be closed to him this year

Darius had a very good run between 2019 and 2021, he was off the pace in 2022 and 2023, but whether he wins his card or not he will have the backup of the Nordic/Baltic Tour

To anyone questioning my choices; I didn’t do anyone out of a place, I earned my right to play in the final stage of Q School, I chose to play MODUS as it’s my job, I am returning to MK Sunday & will try to win a tour card, it’s a big ask but a risk I was willing to take!

Still doesn’t give a reason. Put it all into qschool and play modus after.

Andy turned up at Q School and won through to the 2nd / final stage. Was he even there on the opening day of stage 1? He then opted to play Modus and cash in while he could. He's made it to finals night tonight and is guaranteed £1.5k at this stage and more if making the semis etc...

Andy will play Q School tomorrow knowing only winning the day will gain him a tour card. Yes, he will only play 1 day of the final stage.

What about players who played 1 day of stage 1 only and others who didn't bother after 2 or 3 days?

Is only playing on the final day less ambitious than only playing on the opening day of the first stage? What it really does is highlight things more as everyone knows the decision he took.

Who knows the players who opted to not play all 4 days of stage 1. I know at least 2.

Who really cares? Andy signed the card and that will do for me

James Hurrell--done well in the WDF, let's see how he'll do in the PDC
William Borland--took a miracle to even get him to the final stage,
Matthew Dennant--meh, wouldn't be up to much
George Killington--obviously at Q-School for a reason, but I feel he's got a bit more to give
Rhys Griffin--one of those 'bright young things' that hasn't done it, don't think he'll be up to much, but wouldn't mind being wrong
Dom Taylor--yes please
Darren Webster--hasn't been good for ages
Thomas Cromwell--yeah, me neither
Andy Boulton--not the sexiest player (unless you're Malt!), but plenty good enough to compete
Danny Lauby--would love to see him, he's made one hell of a commitment to come over to the UK
Scott Taylor--like a jobbier version of Chizzy, capable of some amazing runs, but not consistent enough over the course of a season

I like Darren Webster but at this point, why?

Both UK and EU classes look pretty solid to be fair, will be a lot of quality players.

In Kalkar I'd like Tricole, Bialecki, Arihara (if he can commit) and Jeffrey to get cards, but they'll all need a deep run (Jeffrey might need to go all the way). In Milton Keynes I'd like Scutt, Leung, Spellman and Sherrock to win cards (although it wouldn't be the end of the world in terms of the PDC this year for the latter two), don't think it's even possible that the latter 3 can all win cards as they may need to go the whole hog tomorrow

Obviously Hamilton is a cunt for taking the place in stage 2 away from someone else who might have taken it seriously or had a chance of getting a card. Hope he loses first game tomorrow.

Very good posts on both EU and UK players.

Got to know Danny as he's stationed not too far from me. He's all in on getting a tour card though seems to be dropping his levels at the latter stages of each day and needs to correct it. I don't know one other player who's put in as many yards as him on the oche in the last 3 months. Robotic and conditioned to playing any venue whoever the player, whatever the level.

Then there's Dom. He has an incredible high ceiling and reels of many legs in 4-5 visits with ease. Ran into a good one in yesterday's final and fell short today.

The Scholar Matty Dennant, also has a good game in him. Famously missed doubles to ko Duzza at Q School, from whence Duzza went on his incredible pdc rampage!

Rhys - I marked his first match of Q School where he averaged 104+ in an awesome display of scoring and finishing. He bombed next match but has since found his feet. Would be a good addition to the pdc and has age on his side being mid 20's.

As per usual, the final day brings with it many emotions of joy and angst. Imagine if a certain forum member (the Oxford champion year 2000 something) reached this stage where he snapped and a mini riot ensued due to his actions.

Spare a thought for the Markers, as players reach the edge of boiling point.

Have not really been keeping an eye on Q School results due to work commitments, but have to say this year overall the qualifiers are no surprise.

For me Klaasen, Baetens, Puha, Van Dongen and Szganski if he doesn't turn up tomorrow from the Euro Qualifier and Lennon and Bennett from the UK Qualifier are going to add to the Tour.

Out of all those already qualified, really pleased for Leighton Bennett whom I think is an exceptional talent and could do really well on the tour.

Hoping Andy Boulton and Danny Lauby hold on their position on the OOM going into their last day and also Plaiser from the European Q School.
