I believe there's a downgrade path but it aint the easiest of processes

I bought it with 8 pre-installed, so wouldn't be able to downgrade

You can mate but it's fucking complicated. Also the machine itself may not be compatible with 7

Perfectly sensible question mate dont you take no notice of that pretend Welshman ;) ,,I had a cyst on my back which got infected and had to be removed,Now i,m seeing a nurse four days a week to have the hole packed ( which is fucking painful as anything ) and it needs to be done regular to avoid any further infection,It could take two or three months before treatment stops..
A lad from my work has the same, poor fella is often in pain so I feel for you mate.

I've had no end of problems with mine unall. Just keeps deciding to shut down now and then. Not sure why, but it's a little annoying as I've had it for about 10 months. Won't buy a Packard Bell again in a hurry. When I used to buy desktops from Dell, they would last me several years.
