If you are interested, the biggest internet movie/tv review show did a feature on tng season 1 as to why it was so bad (much to do with future boss Rick Berman being a bit of a dick and Gene Roddenberry himself being a MAJOR dick), all the things it pinched from TOS (both story ideas and props and models), and how it survived to make the zillion times better future seasons. I defiantly think its worth watching the first 5 and a half minutes before they talk about specific episodes.

To be honest i think 11001001 is a pretty good ep by season one standards apart from Rikers bullshit on the holodeck so hopefully you arnt tortured quite as much as usual.

I think this part of s1 is the most consistantly not utterly terrible. Apart from the klingon one the episodes up to symbiosis are almost ok.

Then skin of evil happens :lol:
