You are aware that Taylor thrashed RVB in cross-code events in 2005, right?
2004? Perhaps RVB would have taken a few tournaments off him, but Taylor would have still got the better of him overall.

Compare Taylor's averages with Hankey's in 2000.

I'm well aware of the masters of darts etc and it proves that even in periods where he was going through the motions he could still raise his game when needed.
