Makes a load of sense to me mate. Lampard's future is still undecided I believe

very salient reasoning. Anyone who has spent that long at Juve wouldn't touch Liverpool after '85.

I was thinking about that the other day. ADP must have been 10 when Heysel happened. Would he harbour a grudge? I know many Juve fans still do - recall a lot of them turning their backs on the 'friendship' banner which the scousers held up in their 2005 CL meeting at Anfield. Also remember speaking to some Liverpool fans the next day and they said it was about time Juve fans moved on.
But I didn't think ADP would have been so affected by it. Especially when, according to Managing Director Ian Ayre the scousers only 'witnessed' the tragedy.
"Instead of leaving Brussels having seen our team lift a fifth European Cup, Liverpool supporters travelled back to England having
witnessed the deaths of 39 football supporters including 32 Italian fans of Juventus, four Belgians, two from France and one man from Northern Ireland."
I wonder if the South Yorkshire police have a football team? Perhaps they could arrange a friendly with Liverpool and their supporters can hold up a 'friendship' banner?

I think ADP is very conscious of what heysel means.
Also, he might fancy winning something again before he retires, making oz the sensible option.

I think the Jocks "worry" about the shite we are faced with from the "British" media Sky Sports, BBC & ITV. Nothing but focusing on In-Gur-Lund & how great they are

England's population: 53 million according to latest estimates.
Scotland's population: 5.2 million
Football is the #1 sport in both countries, so no advantage to either on that score. But England has far more players to choose from and thus they should be expected to do better.
