Well some people might pay them a monthly fee for bonus content. It might even be possible to check how many subscribers they have.

I thought working mens clubs were to benefit those that actually do a days graft :D

No idea what the workies in Droitwich charge for a pint now but even before lockdown it was a hell of a lot more than those prices even with 50p off a pint for members.

And you can keep the Fosters and Amstel.
What the hell is McEwens? Bitter as well?

What’s Cruzcampo like?
Seen it in a pub by me but never had it.

£2.50 for Guinness is spot on.
Was paying £4.40 for it on Monday evening.

All the pubs and clubs where I live are decent tbf only places over £3.50 a pint are the ones on the sea front which are bistro / wine bars.

McEwan's is a light ale not my cup of tea however.

I drink Cruzcampo in there it's very similar to Madri and Moretti I think it's the better of the 3.

Its ok when you live in an area that you have busy pubs/clubs most of the day and can charge less but a lot of places now are pricing out regular drinkers because they do not have the trade needed to keep prices low or their rents/costs are way more than other areas, Pubs/clubs that used to throw money at darts/pool etc won't give you fuck all now and it is also starting to cost them trade as they have nothing else to offer.
