He will lose 1st round seed or not
Another year like this one and it could be nearly end of days, as he had a relatively big Worlds run to the Last 16 coming off in 2022

Last time he was unseeded was in 2009. Incredible how he's managed to stay in the top 32 for so long without doing much else, might have hoped for a better career way back when, but I don't imagine he thought he'd stay this consistent over so many years

Incredible achievement from JdS considering he got barely got his Tour Card last year. Was the penultimate winner through the Euro Q-School OoM.
I can't quite remember the maths, but I remember the last few of those tour card holders were waiting nervously for UK entries to determine the share of tour cards, to think if there were x amount more entries in the UK Q-School he wouldn't even have won his card!

I remember Maik Kuivenhoven was in the lucky last spot, when it looked like he'd miss out until UK numbers were lower than expected. Now he's well placed to keep it

Bad google translation but here are his tweets:

"And then you think that the Pdc is professional pff what preschoolers "

Someone asked what happened

"During my last match, two of them want to fight behind me while there are still matches going on, don't mention names but can't stand it when I'm wronged and I can't fully focus on the match"
