The fight wasn't stopped due to that punch.Randall wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 12:43 pmIt was a diveHalloweenJack wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:23 am Also remember Liston did get up but there was so much confusion from Ali not going to a neutral corner when he was shouting at Liston.
Look at the reactions of Liston when he was hit. He was caught with a short right while lunging forward off balance.
Liston actually beat the count, took some more punches, and then the ref stepped in and stopped the fight.

Re: Premier League 2020
Technically it was a knockout. Liston was down for 12 seconds. It was a farcical ending mainly due to Ali not going to a neutral corner. The ref ( Jersey Joe Walcott) let the fight continue, it was the timekeeper who was yelling at the ref to stop the fight as he had counted Liston out.sennafan24 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 3:03 pmThe fight wasn't stopped due to that punch.Randall wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 12:43 pmIt was a diveHalloweenJack wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:23 am Also remember Liston did get up but there was so much confusion from Ali not going to a neutral corner when he was shouting at Liston.

He reminds me of James Wade, in the fact that he can drag peoples games down. His ton plus finishes are better than anyone, which was and to an extent still is a strength of Wade. One big difference, is Wade has got over the line in big events, Duzza has yet to do that in the PDC, but it’s coming.Randall wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 4:09 pmHe is a very good player who has confounded expectationsHalloweenJack wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:55 amThere are some on here that will not give Duzza any credit whatsoever. Wade is the more proven player at this point. It's one thing to win mickey mouse events like Lakeside, it's another to win legitimate world-class events like the Matchplay, the UK Open and the Grand Prix.
