Don't see the point of it.

Don't see the point of it.
It's great for countries outside of the elite. Countries like Malta, Lithuania etc get to play against teams on their level and have competitive fixtures, there's also an outside route to the Euros etc for these kinds of teams - Its how Georgia got into the Euros and they actually put up a really good show.

Competitive fixtures is a good way of improving/gaining confidence outside of getting smashed by bigger teams in World Cup Qualifying, and hopefully these sorts of games can help them improve their level when they do play these big teams.

They've introduced it into a few continents around the World now and I think it's a good concept.

I'm pretty sure international breaks are a requirement so if Nations League didn't exist countries would just have to play pointless friendlies, this is definitely better

Fair enough. Tbh my interest in footy has waivered a lot. So I don't watch much anymore. Check results pages now and again but actually watching matches is very rare so my opinion should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Today's debate

Are Liverpool fans right to be angry at Trent?

Liverpool fans are generally entitled mutants, but Trent probably shouldn't have publicly declared that he'd rather win a Ballon d'Or than the Champions League. He won't ever win the former so it was a hiding to nothing really.
