the great thing about bdo - is that when the old guard leave - they always find a replacement - if there best shooter go q school - bdo will just get more shooters - the pdc switches get lazy at the circus - and lose there ability - so doesnt make any difference at the end of the day -self fullfiling prophercy - bdo always head of the game - i watched ryan joyce at lakey years ago - the circus only know him from this year - same happened with anderson mvg and others - but bdo kept the very best in wolfie - a classic man - a great man -

thats the subtle difference - duzza plays great every day - everyone else across both codes are only good on their day - mvg is too inconsistent and cant handle pressure - anderson more consistent - but cant handle pressure - wright is a average player - wolife past his best - you have to say that duzza is head and shoulders above the rest -

Chizzy averaging 113 on them is insane.
Am I being wooshed here, I thought the modern eclipse board "Toy boards" was already out by then?

I was under the impression that the boards became easier to play on around 2014.

Go back in darts history though, and the 1970s boards were virtually impossible to stack the darts because of the thick wires, and it was only slightly better for much of the 1980s. Most of the 1990s boards still had staples in them. Up to the 2014 World Championship, it was SD boards. The HD boards since 2014 have changed the game further, and now an Ultra HD board making the targets stand out even further still.

Having had hands on with both, I never noticed a difference between the eclipse and the eclise HD other than the numbers, and the eclipse HD did cost a couple of notes more, but PT is almost encyclopedic so I'd probably defer to them.

Target's early PT darts are rancid. They didn't fly right with Phil throwing them and the weighting was bizarre. I could never get them to go in the board straight when I had a practice throw. with them. I'd say that's more of a reason for harming Phil than the boards changing.
