Incredible stat here. Am I hearing a word beginning with 'L'?
Very surprising stat tbh..
Is Atkins mr lubricant?
That's Leeds Atkins.

Wigan Atkins is best known for being mistaken for Leeds Atkins and taken out of the Denmark Open by mistake. Was then followed by a moron saying he would no longer buy Lurpak because of it
I vaguely remember that!

Not to forget that the guy who caused him to be removed is a BDO director now...

Meanwhile Assassin BDO legend Leeds Atkins finished on 0 point, so never surpassed the last 256 stage..

I'm guessing Trina wasn't on hand to help.

Really good set of Euro qualifiers and happy enough with at least half the UK ones and the other half will probably never see anything of so whatever really.

Last year's Durrant-Dennant pair is Harms-Huybrechts this year. Same drama.

McGeeney said very similar things last year about playing conditions. If the cubicles appeal to you, you're set.

I thought Hinges sounded remarkably motivated, by his standards... the time is finally right, apparently. Gawd elp us.

Parletti said something similar yesterday when referencing how a chihuahua in the Italian Masters put him off hitting a 9 darter

The saddest part of the mass exodus this year though is it's taken the BDO to utterly collapse for so many of the diehards to realise there's a better place to play darts. That should never have been the case.

Wes Harms went to the Euro version where the competition isn’t as tough and still had to scrape a card off the OOM. The jobbing bastard is going to get demolished and sent off back to what remains of the BDO very quickly

When he said no more holiday camps my immediate thought was Minehead

yeah i like Waites and hope he gives it a full go but he seems comfortable/lazy/complacent that I can see him somewhat half-arsing it.

I think he'll keep his card very comfortably, he's a better floor than stage player and while the Euro Q school was not as deep it was by no means a given to get a card.

Waites has got tons of bottle, the TV events he does play in, I fancy him to do alright, it's just getting to them that will be the problem. I was cheering Barry on today, even though he's a lot younger, there's no question that he'd be well up for every event

Without using the 'L' word, Q-School is not the best judge of a player's quality, some quality players struggled while some proper shit made it through automatically. I'm fairly confident Harms will retain his card, though you can never be certain

Remarkable what effect the last remaining life-changing cheque disappearing from non-PDC darts has had. It's almost as though it's affected the Prestige...

It's an important development in the advancement of the game that Q-School has been normalised I think. It shouldn't be some niche, weird thing that becomes a fecking phantom in the mind where you squirm when you're asked if you're going. Do we think Mitchell will be back...?

He did mention the CT when chatting with Dawson on thur/fri, more or less saying he would give it a go if he failed QS,
But he is more of a "BDO for life" type of guy, so I think he will plod on with his county and Mushroom Open events
