That's not saying much but still.
Not sure what happened to him. He made a decent name for himself on the amateur circuit. I guess from a large sample size there are always going to be a couple lads who just can't handle the tour.
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

Perhaps he can take consolation from Dragt who was still on zero in JUNE last season and ended it on 13,500.

On the other hand, Dragty ended that season a good chunk fatter in the PC aves compared to where Dennie is currently: 88.83 v 84.82.

It's not looking good for Dennie but we aren't even at the half way mark of the season. He has a 2 year card.

Trouble is, to get back in the races he needs to get through either the Grand Slam qualifier and/or preferably the Worlds Qualifier.

Many players do well and lose their cards. It's life. His goal should not be to keep his card but to build up some wins and get to a couple TV events maybe

Maybe the WS Finals, given how many players choose to miss that qualifier

There is something I would point out about Olde Kalter.

He has the highest opponent 3 dart average in Players Championship events of any of the class of 2025, 94.07, against whom he’s won 27% of legs.

Compare that to Tytus Kanik, whose opponent 3 dart average is 87.32, against whom he’s only won 36% of legs. And Pero Ljubic, who has won 32% of legs against an opponent 3 dart average of 93.39.

Ljubic is just winning more legs because he’s hitting more doubles. Both have had limited attempts.

Mostly Olde Kalter is just running at that mid to high 80s average and not taking the limited attempts at double that 92 first 9 gives him.

Ljubic is just getting attempts when they come through his opponents missing clumps or having an off leg it seems.

Probably just a confidence issue with Dennie
Dragt had the same issue last year
