Best midfielder in the Premiership over the past 10 years hands down when on form! Especially consider the things he has done with some of the utter shite surrounding him most seasons

He was an above average player in a below average team.

Are you for real!

He would walk into Uniteds starting lineup

So your trying to say Carrick, Anderson, Fletcher, Cleverley are better than Gerrard!

Much better than Modric and Barry, Yaya.

More likely he would limp into it.

He wouldn't get near the united team.

Paul scholes couldn't, & he was far superior

As great a player as Gerrard was he's pretty much done for at the very highest level.

He'd be nothing more than a squad player at Utd and City now.....granted he'd have walked into both teams 2/3 seasons ago...not now i'm afraid.

Agree.... But Gerrard should still be around the England side, Lampard should be made to retire from international football

That's a nonsense. Neither of them should be anywhere near the squad.

Why? He isn't the best midfielder in the country. His time has gone.

Just watching a re run of the United V Chelsea game.

If Cole got a yellow for his horror tackle on Hernendez why wasn't it a penalty
