Jagicza or Strbik (I don’t remember) has beaten the 'O' named Italian at Q-School , so he could be shite.

Seems like new players turn up for Italy every year. They had a lot of decent prospects throughout the years. Petri, Furlani, Turetta, Rollo, Tomasetti, Micheletti, Krassen. But none of them seem to stick around for more than a couple years.

Good to have a new country represented. Omalchenko playing was one of the worst moments of the PDC Worlds. He didnt knock it out the park and he was pretty shite as people expected.

Surely Singapore will be booted as soon as Paul Lim hangs up his darts, Harith Lim is getting worse (not that he was ever great), and there is nobody to replace them. As for Thailand, it's the same two players who have been their top two for a while now, and with Korea and Taiwan, I may be wrong, but I only remember seeing them having one halfway decent player between them in Park Hyun Chul and Pupo Teng, and from what I've seen of them they're not strong enough to carry a team on their back and be competitive

The Malaysian qualifying for last year's Asian Championship had pretty decent stats in the latter stages of the event. I think they could probably scrounge up a team that's no worse than the bottom 4 or 5 teams that are in right now. Not a great history of travelling to international events even before Covid though, so unless that changes I doubt the PDC will be interested.

Come on mate. I think you are a bit biased against Ukraine. Omelchenko gave a decent account of himself. Its about more than just winners. It was a nice story

Happy about those teams. Bahrain will be interesting to watch although they won't be up to standard. Jiwa v Kumar is the right pairing for India. Robb was a must for New Zealand although I'm not crazy about Parry. Haupai Puha would have been the better choice.

Not sure. O’Connor and Lennon duo is going to split for the first time in years, don’t really like Barry and Ireland in general = nahhhh.
