Re: 2020 Players Championship Tour
A certain MVG did it back in 2016 under the "old" format: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_PDC_Pro_Tour
It was on three consecutive days as well.

Re: 2020 Players Championship Tour
De Sousa looked unstoppable halfway through that match, fair play to headshaker, showed grit more than head shaking which kept him in the match

Also a Paul Linwood enjoyer

Re: 2020 Players Championship Tour
OBM still 64th somehow. Will he manage it? He's played in enough of these to have booked a spot by now if he were any good.

Re: 2020 Players Championship Tour
In an alternate universe, James Wilson and Steve West won PDC Pro Tour events in 2016. Doesn't bear thinking about to be honest.Rogg wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 9:08 pmGood find (well, as usualFiss Plaps wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 9:03 pmA certain MVG did it back in 2016 under the "old" format: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_PDC_Pro_Tour

Re: 2020 Players Championship Tour
I've noticed how Harms this year has been a complete waste of potential. He surely would be relatively comfortable within the top 64 after two years if he applied himself as a full professional. Compare him to ex-BDO compatriot Kleermaker, who since Q-school has squeezed all of his practice into application. He made the decision early to do the PDC tour properly and is currently reaping the rewards.
On the contrary, it seems Harms only did Q-school as a last resort because the BDO died and consequently will probably not go places as he never really wanted to jump in the first place. Otherwise he'd have jumped with Kist or Dekker or Noppert at any of their Q-school attempts. There might be a reason why he hasn't played, COVID or whatever which would be understandable but if not then the above applies. Then again, Kai Fan Leung travels from Asia and Heta from Australia so it puts things into perspective.

Re: 2020 Players Championship Tour
Isn’t Harms an electrician by trade? If so maybe he is happy doing that and he was happy playing darts part time, a bit like what Waites and Duzza did. I am sure if he committed full time he would get in the top 64 at least, who knows?DeepFriedRat wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:21 pm I've noticed how Harms this year has been a complete waste of potential. If it’s Covid related why he isn’t choosing to enter events, then fair enough. If he isn’t bothered, then he will no doubt lose his tour card come January 2022
It’s a bit hard to judge anyone with the Crazy year to date. Where does he have to be ranked to get a place in the worlds?

Re: 2020 Players Championship Tour
he would have to be in top 32 main OOM or top 32 Pro Tour OOM, which he is currently 95th.HalloweenJack wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:32 pmIsn’t Harms an electrician by trade? If the Euro qualifiers for the Worlds goes ahead he has a chance to get in that way, but I am not sure if these qualifiers are going ahead.
I guess, that if he has work as a sparky, he may find it less risky than to travel, but it is a shame we wont get to know whether he could cut it or not
