Then you read the fine print and realise that if you book less than 6 tickets, you'll be sitting without a mask at the same table as complete strangers.Safc wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:41 pm Fans back for last 5 nights.

I don't think anyone can insist that you don't wear a face covering or that you don't read about it.Captain Hobo wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 1:43 amThen you read the fine print and realise that if you book less than 6 tickets, you'll be sitting without a mask at the same table as complete strangers.Safc wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:41 pm Fans back for last 5 nights.

Still, not my idea of a nice fun time. I wonder if they'll get close to a thousand on any night. Bigworm sounds keen...

I just meant the part that says face coverings must be worn unless seated, then it says you may be sharing tables with other parties.Rogg wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 8:34 amI don't think anyone can insist that you don't wear a face covering or that you don't read about it.Captain Hobo wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 1:43 amThen you read the fine print and realise that if you book less than 6 tickets, you'll be sitting without a mask at the same table as complete strangers.Safc wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 1:41 pm Fans back for last 5 nights.

Sure you could choose to keep your mask on, but I'd bet that most won't, which kind of defeats the point of all the other protocols.

Re: 2021 Premier League
So after the halfway point...who do we think is going to make top 4?
Here are my opinions/predictions-
- It won't be plain sailing for Dimitri and Asp. Both will lose a couple of games along the way and struggle to recapture their consistent best. However, both will get the job done and get top 4 comfortably.
- Wade finishes second, so long as the second block Wade turns up (which I think he will). His losses to Cross and Asp look like performance blips.
- MVG will turn up against Dimitri tonight. He'll claim some arrogant nonsense, only to fold horribly in later nights against this season's bogeymen Wade and Clayton.
- Seems easy to say this given the table but I reckon Anderson gets marooned in last by some distance. He arguably could be two points worse off, had Jose and Cross not missed darts to draw against him. Gando is struggling with the final third of legs (set up and doubles) by throwing too many 1s and 5s at crucial times. He's fortunate not to be relegated and I think it'll show.
- 4th is a straight shootout between MVG, Wright, Clayton and Jose. I'll rule out Wright on his horrible PL record and MVG due to rancid form. I'll plump for Clayton due to admitted bias and his record vs De Sousa, even if Jose is more consistent on the doubles of late.
- I think MVG will railroad someone along the way to put him clear of Jose on legs difference but also get ruled out of contention before Jose (if that makes sense).
Predicted Table
1. Dimitri
2. Wade
3. Aspinall
4. Clayton
5. MVG
6. Jose
7. Wright
8. Anderson
Preferred Top 4
1. Clayton
2. Jose
3. Asp
4. Wade

Re: 2021 Premier League
Some pretty shocking MVG stats in this PL (all numbers from Wikipedia).
1. He's got the worst doubles percentage of the survivors (37.16%).
2. He's hit the least 180s of the survivors (20).
3. He has the second worst average of the survivors behind Anderson. (96.2)
4. He has the joint-lowest 140 total (52), along with Jose. More alarmingly is that Jose is only last in this department as he converts more 140s to 180s than anyone (a difference of only 2 between 140s and 180s compared to MVG's 32).
5. Relegated Rob Cross has better stats than MVG in many categories...
5.1- 180s- Cross: 29, MVG: 20
5.2- 140s- Cross: 61, MVG: 52
5.3- Checkouts- Cross: 40.00%, MVG: 37.16%
5.4- LWAT- Cross: 17, MVG: 16
Was Cross unlucky to be relegated or is MVG lucky to he third? Probably both.
If MVG doesn't turn his stats round, he's surely getting bitten by the improving pack.
