Been watching the re run on Eurosport. For a major final it's an absolute abortion.

Women's darts would be more tolerable in moderation. The standard is not good enough to warrant extensive coverage. Although I do think Fallon is easy on the eye, maybe my standards are slipping

The final was actually better than other BDO finals I have seen. It was better than Waites vs O' Shea at the BDO worlds last year, that was bloody horrible standard for a 1st round game, never mind a "World Final". Both Wilson and Ross averaged around 90, which is not outstanding with the norm of the Premier League, but there has been worse. That is by far the best I have seen "The Boss" play.

To put it bluntly, blame the PDC and their TV deals!. They have raised the bar so high in terms of production values, that the BDO looks sub-par even before a dart is thrown.

Nearly two months on the prize still hasn't been paid out.
