Thanks guys - long term reader of this forum but never registered on a darts one so thought I’d try. Played a bit but pretty shite compared to most like Dave Boy Green etc but I enjoy it. Been around events for some years and know a few faces in both organisations - so all good - hopefully I won’t get too much abuse to start!

I’ve followed the DBG thread back through and it was a classic. Got to give Dave credit for entering and making the 2 lads who were trying to bet him eat their words and start scoffing and moving the goalposts - was a brilliant read. Think I’ve seen Dave play before and he’s a nice lad - not one of the obnoxious youngsters you get at darts who try and put us oldies down with their fist pumps etc haha

Eat their words? He could have had a free £100 out of me and chose not to, absolutely moronic. I certainly didnt move any goalposts, please link me to where I did. He was the one who chose not to take my money.

If I recall rightly he refused the bet as he thought it counted as betting on darts and I would grass him up to the PDC absolute moby.

There was constant posts saying there’s no chance and he went - and made you look silly young man - all part of it though. Just say fair play and yes seemed odd he didn’t take bet but as soon as he’d entered he’d won the thread!
