I have to give him credit, he's done well in the PDC, but I think he's destined to be a Chizzy and fail to win a TV title. That plodding consistency can get him far, but he generally lacks that extra gear when he needs it

Irrelevant point. He won the league stage. Liverpool lost to Watford in the Premier league last season but still won the league.

My aren’t we getting desperate and the thread has only just started.
In the interest of debate, how is he overrated? He is easily in the top 10 players in the world? He proved he was the best player in the Premier league by winning the league stage. Only Taylor and MVG have done this. That in itself shows he isn’t overrated. You have an irrational dislike of Duzza which seems to have been noticed by a few on here
He's rated by some as one of the best in the world, when in reality he isn't even top 5.
(You could put an argument forward for top 5 but without doubt he is top 10)
He was very fortunate in the PL. He only won 1 out of his last 6 games, and unlike every other year, there wasn't a Taylor or MVG firing on all-cylinders.
(Shows the others weren’t good enough to capitalise then)

Not really.
The main reason he finished top was because a number of players bottled it against him, yet played well against others and took points off them in the process.
There wasn't really a standout player in the group stage.

why is there hate against Duzza? lol He came from the BDO and doing quite well unlike other cowards who didn't jump.
- He's boring to watch.
- He's beloved by BDO fanboys like Oche, Rout and Halloween Jack.
- He's an overrated player.
- He has about as much charisma as Alan Shearer.
- He isnt the best to watch i agree
- I think he is a very good player, Perhaps not at the level of the top 3 but between 4-10 in the world
- Nope he clearly isnt
- Possibly

The only reason Durrant gets so much 'praise' and 'attention' is because everyone still hypes over his 'amazing' run at the World Matchplay over a year ago, where he won against Pisspot (who?), an MvG that was starting to lose form and everybody's favorite James Wade who had a big off-day, before losing hopelessly to Smith of all people.
If you'd analyze his other 'big' runs you'd see they were massive flukes. Even topping the PL table was a fluke.

Fucking nonsense. Durrant got to 3 other big major semis. No one apart from Taylor and MVG has ever topped the PL but apparently it's a fluke? All 15 nights were a fluke?

You've just overrated him yourself.
No way should he be considered as high as 4th best in the world. MVG, Anderson, Wright, and Price are all clearly better than him.
