Lets just go the whole hog and invite 4 home nation BDO teamsoche balboa wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 3:37 pm Should be a B Side for the top 3 nations
England: Nathan Aspinall & Ian White
Scotland: John Henderson & Andy Boulton
Holland: Jermaine Wattinmena & Jeffrey De Zwann
Was going to say that Zong Xiaochen qualified for the Chinese team, but I just saw he pulled out a few weeks ago, shame, as he's not too bad. Hope he can recover in order to qualify and play at the Worlds, pretty sure I've seen stuff on social media that he's playing the online PDC events they're putting on in ChinaEmulsfier wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 12:19 pm With this ment to be happening in a month, theres still a whole bunch of stuff to sort out.
With the Rodent losing, the top seven seeds in order of combined OoM are:
1. England - Michael Smith and Rob Cross
2. Scotland - Peter Wright and Gary Anderson (will he fly over?)
3. Wales - Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton
4. Netherlands - Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert
5. Northern Ireland - Daryl Gurney and Brendan Dolan
6. Belgium - Dimitri van den Bergh and Kim Huybrechts
7. Germany - Max Hopp and Gabriel Clemens
8th seed is a bit of a conundrum, as nominally its Australia with Whitlock and KAndo, but not a hope in hell KAndo turns up. If KAndo is replaces by Heta, then both RepOfIreland and Austria have a better combined OoM, Ireland first, so who will get seeded? Do you care? Prob not.
Regardless the other countries with two in the OoM are:
Australia - Simon Whitlock and Kyle Anderson/Damon Heta
Rep of Ireland - Willie O'Connor and Steve Lennon
Austria - Mensur Suljovic and Rowby-John Rodriguez
Poland - Krzysztof Ratajski and Krzysztof Kciuk
Spain - Cristo Reyes (skipped autumn series) and Toni Alcinas
Those confirmed to also be playing are
Brazil - Diogo Portela and Bruno Rangel
Canada - Jeff Smith and Matt Campbell
China - Xicheng Han and Di Zhuang
Czech Republic - Karel Sedláček and Adam Gawlas
Gibraltar - Justin Hewitt and Craig Galliano
Italy - October 11th Qualifier
New Zealand - Cody Harris and Haupai Puha
Russia - Boris Koltsov and Aleksei Kadochnikov
United States - Darin Young and Chuck Puleo
Which puts us at 21/32 teams.
Countries with at least some tour card representation are:
South Africa - Devon Petersen
Lithuania - Darius Labanauskas
Latvia - Madars Razma
Portugal - Jose de Sousa
Sweden - Daniel Laarson
Finland - Marco Kantele
Hong Kong (lol country) - Kai Fan Leung
Croatia - Boris Krcmar
Which still leaves us with 29/32 teams, assuming everyone plays.
Who will make up the remaining teams? Will they cut it to 24 and give the seeds a bye? Did you really read all that without falling asleep?
Huh, I hadn't noticed Boulton has become the unofficial Scottish #4 ahead of Thornton. I know he's been in decline for quite a while, but it's still weird seeing the Thorn outside the top 64oche balboa wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 3:37 pm Should be a B Side for the top 3 nations
