Think safc has done an excellent job running the comps. I for one greatly appreciate it. Errors happen and I for one given my own experience with safc when I have cocked up he has been fair. I think him making his own judgement on the rules is fine by me. Completely confident those small mistakes will be fixed in future comps.

To add to Cannibal's comments.
All the comps are free as well.
Plus, a lot of the time the table updates are done in the early hours of the morning. Even when SAFC wasn't working from home before the pandemic.

I thought Safc started the pandemic, so that he could spend more time on the comps

What has been said has been said and will never be forgotten. You can treat me like a douche, I'll ignore it from now on.
Trying out some computer predictions here, and using them to predict how many points people will get because that's what I like to do. Voiding myself because people will say that's biased, I reckon the top 3 will leap away, and Emulsfier gets the most points on average, whereas Ginge and Sanchez shouldn't get that many points most of the time.

Re: Fantasy Darts 2020 - Discussion Thread
So let's do a stat update no one is looking forward to.
9 players have not scored any points during this tournament. Of those, Malanax has lost a spot to Greipel, and Tommo moves one down in an exchange with peshark.
skweezit, cannibal, Emulsfier and Mabbsy also have potential to take over someone this evening session.
Safc and JH-01 are the ones who have the most quarter-finalists in their squad: 4. JH-01 has Ratajski, Safc has Petersen, and Ratajski and Petersen play eachother in the quarters. I presume that whoever has their player win that match, will be the top scorer of this weekend.
This is all under the assumption that there will not be a 9 darter, in which case the standings will get shaken a bit more.

Re: Fantasy Darts 2020 - Discussion Thread
Alright, so the Euro Tour predictions weren't all too shabby. Ginge and Sanchez, who I predicted not to get a lot of points, both got nothing, and the four people I mentioned in my last post who had the potential to overtake someone in the standings all did just that.
The next tournament is a TV tournament and that makes it a bit more complicated, because although I might have sufficient stats to predict how far someone will get, it's harder to put an exact number because of the bonuses for finishes and 3-treble visits. Nonetheless, I decided I should give it a shot and see where it ends up.
In the case of the World Grand Prix being on the more predictable side, quite a bunch of players should get more than a thousand points next week. Of these players, Rogg has the most potential, getting the most points on average mostly because 10 of his 11 players are playing in the Grand Prix - only Scott Waites isn't.
In line with this, cannibal is another player who has all but one of their entries in the Grand Prix, while Gunga Din only has four and bottom-spot Jock Mccallum has just three.
Now on to the standings. If we take a look at the top of the leaderboard, where the prizes will be distributed, Rogg has quite a lot going for to jump three places to second place! This would most likely put bojeru out, although TheGoose could also suffer a bit of a drop.
Other people who might make a big jump next week are Mabbsy (+3 spots), Emulsfier (+6 spots!) and cannibal (+7 spots!!) These are the projections though, so things might turn out to be a bit disappointing.
On the other end of the equilibrium, this sadly means there are also going to be a few people to slide down the leaderboard. Sorry for the people I will mention, but Slasher may lose 4 spots, and Randall (sorry! it's the projections) could become the biggest loser of the Grand Prix with 7 people having a serious shout at overtaking him. This is mostly because of having only 5 players playing, a bunch of which have a tough draw to face (Van Gerwen, Chisnall, Clemens)

Re: Fantasy Darts 2020 - Discussion Thread
Alright, I was on a midweek holiday this week so I haven't had access to my spreadsheet that, but here's a quick mid-tournament stat update.
After the first round, Safc had the most players through to the second round with 6, followed by Rogg, cannibal and JH-01 with 5. In the meantime, a few of their picks got eliminated in just four matches, which leaves three players with 4 darts stars in their team left in the WGP: Slasher, peshark and Gunga Din.
On to the current scores. Rogg has won the most points so far, as he leaps into fourth spot with a serious chance of breaking into the top 3. Jimmi has overtaken TheGoose for second spot, and TheGoose should start worrying about falling even further!
So far, no one has really lost a lot of spots, but cannibal is doing extremely well in the middle of the pack, as they have zoomed past 7(!) other participants, and the tournament hasn't even ended yet.
Also, Rogg and cannibal are doing well like I predicted, but Safc is doing surprisingly well, having the second most points from the WGP so far. And that comes after being best team in the Euro Tour event recently... wow!
Have fun watching the end of the WGP.

Right lads I've decided after a discussion with Viz that he will take over the running of this as he is all set with spreadsheets.
I enjoy doing the comps and I will continue to run them and also have a few new ideas to keep them refreshed starting with the European Championships

Fair play thanks for getting it going in the first place
