Re: viz rates your songs
Might as well. For the post count.
I can't tell where the intro stops probably because it is so long. It's great in its genre but for me it just drags on and on. I can tell they are really skilled at what they're doing.
I actually kinda liked it when the singing started. But again that part also drags on too long for me. It's missing the elevation between powerful highs and low breaks in the song's pace.
Didn't listen to the entire 10 minutes as I'm going to eat soon but I don't know when it's ready.

THIS IS SO MY STYLE!
I really dig this! I've gotta remember the name of this group. The singer is insanely talented, his voice fits the cover perfectly.
Here's one that someone shared with me a while back which I would have half expected to show up here if it was more popular:

Oh this type of music is so recognizable here in the Netherlands. And I love them and I hate them. They stick in your head but at the same time they are so cringy.
Here's a few that are 100% in sync with your song. If you like this you'll like mine:
Rainbow High in the Sky and Wonderful Days are two other great Dutch happy hardcore songs.

Man I have been there
This song sadly came into my life 5 years ago and never really left.

I can tell this was from before the autotune era.
It's okay but in my opinion it's not worthy of the 'classic' title. It's too bland for my taste, and the singer isn't close to being pitch perfect. Also these songs of which there are many in this time period are longer than my brain can usually handle so after a few minutes in I skimmed the rest of it.

I'm totally digging this after 10 seconds in. The vocals could be more powerful, but that's a trait few artists have.
This is the kind of music (without the vocals) you'd find in a lot of racing games like Hot Wheels or Need for Speed. Their soundtracks are usually very similar, there are many songs like this instrumental.

I’m not sure how old you are, the above song was released as a single in 1982 Soft Cell were very big then, the year before they had the biggest selling single of the year with ‘Tainted Love’ I am sure you will have heard that one.vizIIsto wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 5:16 pmI can tell this was from before the autotune era.
