Will Paul Lim give it a go? I think we would all love that. He said he might try in January 2018, but in the end he didn't. I think 2020 is the year for him to try

He won't dosen't need too makes enough off Asian tour and soft tip and off world cup and the worlds.

Any Asian player wanting a tour card has to be prepared to move to the uk for it too work sure at the worlds ilagan said he was saving up to move to uk for q school in 2020.

Looking at the big 7 in terms of the Asian players none are spring chickens

Ilagan 41
Lim 65
Malicdem 42
Lam 43
Asada 39
Murumatsu 42
Yamada 36

Fuck me, how is Ilagan 41? Looks very good for his age.

Only one of them I think could do well on the PDC circuit is Asada, and maybe Ilagan and Malicdem.

Been around for yonks lol, had a run at the Masters 10 years ago. Definitely think those three could be very good if they come to Europe. Not convinced by Lam, Lim is destined to be one of those who's dangerous in a single tournament but is too old to uproot himself, and Yamada I don't really know about

It's that diet of rice, fish heads and fetal duck eggs.

"depending on his calendar"

Federico Mangano @F_Manga18 Aug 1
I think Asada said he'll try Q-school

Ben Hudd @benonsport
Yeah, he told me in a recent interview that he will be playing depending on his calendar. [...In this month’s @DartsPlanetTV mag.]

As far as I am concerned not much interested in any of the Americans, Canadians or Asians going to q-school. Main reason for that is I doubt any of them would commit to doing it seriously if they got the tour card. Lim has a comfortable life with the soft tip shit. I am sure Dartslive gives a good check, and if he is playing steel tip he isn't in front of their machines where they want to see him as Lim is to Dartslive what Taylor was to Unicorn in the day. End of the day Lim isn't good enough to survive on the PDC tour.

I would be very interested if one of them made a move to UK to do the tour full time. I followed Fiji Merman Dawson progress when he first moved over. Fortunately for my short attention span his progress wasn't much so didn't take up much time. Still would like to see him develop into a contender but think he is likely to make a better living as a dime museum oddity.

Damon Heta says.
“To do that in front of an Australian crowd was amazing and hopefully I’ll be able to come over to the UK soon and when I do people better watch out.”

A cool £20k for last night, at least £7,500 basically in the bank for Ally Pally already plus whatever he earns from other Aussie events, he's raking it in. We need to see him move over to the UK, be an awful shame if a TV winner doesn't make the move

I just realised the money Heta won for that BDO aussie event was more than the main prize for the World Trophy. Fucking hell

Jumbled Jim following the Dean Reynolds blueprint for success.

"I've done as well as I can do so maybe it's time to make a step forward now.

"I will go to the PDC when my consistency gets there.

"It's getting there, but I don't want to go there and make the numbers up, I want to go and have a go so when I'm ready, I'll go."

Cheers. Q-School in January?

Martijn Kleermaker‏ @DartsMartijn
Thinking about it. We'll see when it's time :)

Maybe the 2020 Q-School dates will be on the calendar when it's published later... or maybe not. Ideally it shouldn't clash with piss palace again but ehh.

Dates confirmed then. Both are January 16-19. Back to being played simultaneously which will crush DartConnect… crush it.

No clash with piss palace makes it nice and easy for a Euroshroom.

Probably you're correct but there's no date for Lakeside, is there?

I assumed the first Saturday in January, which is the 4th... maybe I shouldn't have. Bag carrier over the road has said it won't clash and he knows stuff.
