Yes, this list has taken that off already. Still got work to do, but I don't think he'll have a Devon Petersen style run to keep his tour cardSafc wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 6:37 pmRichardson is defending 27 grand at worlds likethegentle wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 5:55 pmNot the biggest fan of these lists as they don't include provisional TV money, which will obviously have a disproportionate effect. Someone like Owen may look like he's on the cusp, but he's really up against it as he's not particularly near anything at the moment. Pipe, Woodhouse, Vindaloo and Monk on the other hand are provisionally at the Players, as well as the Worlds, where a single win against an international player would earn them £15kEmulsfier wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2019 3:18 pm Credit to Erik Middelkoop
Reaching the two thirds stage now, a Hughes victory puts Robert Owen right into the danger zone. A whole host of well known names right on the cusp. Edgar, Norris, Devon, Mansell and perhaps even Cheato can't afford a complete slump, or they may make room for some of the 2018 TC holders trying to say alive.
Pipe and Webster have a hole of their own making they need to dig themselves out of, and Kist and R Huybrechts are already 6 feet under.
The fight for the best 2019 TC graduate is close as you like between Glenda and Yozza, while our lord and savior, Ward and Evetts fight it out for third.

Here is the list including provisional TV monies, with a helpful graphic showing who's provisionally qualified for what until the end of the year:

Thanks again to Burton.

Here is the post-Ally Pally Order of Merit, with minimum money added to provisional TV qualifiers and ET10 qualifiers. Justin Pipe and Devon Petersen both did themselves a world of good this week, as did Jan Dekker.

Here is the post-Ally Pally Order of Merit, with minimum money added to ET and provisional TV qualifiers. Matthew Edgar moves into the provisional World Championship qualification spots, lifting him into the Top 64. Alan Norris currently the first man out.

If norris loses his card which is looking more and more likely that will be very cruel.

Is there a realistic chance of Cadby losing his card? Say if he doesn't play any more events this year?
The truth, however ugly in itself, is always curious and beautiful to seekers after it.

Re: Tour Card Race For 2020
It's hard to tell because the money has gone up so dramatically in recent years, you'd expect there to be a lot of players around Cadby who will win a game or two at the Players/Euros/Worlds, and there's always someone who goes on a mad one, Nicholson was sitting pretty last year before it all blew up on him. Don't think it'll be as crazy as that again, but Burton reckons it could be up to £65-70k to retain a TC in January, which would put everyone below North (who's looking fucked for next year) in a spot of bother

Re: Tour Card Race For 2020
Cadby will survive so long as he actually plays the last few PC's and makes a few grand. However when It comes to next year, about 2/3 of his ranking money comes from two events, so continued fuck ups will make his life very horrid.
Of course if he goes on a run or two in the PC's and makes the finals and the WC then all will be well. Bet the lazy fuck wont.

Here is the race to retain a Tour Card for 2020. Matthew Edgar clinging into the Top 64, but he'll need to get to Ally Pally to have any realistic chance of survival on tour.

Dimitri doing well to still be provisionally top 32 after Ally Pally given he stands to lose 2018 QF money of £40k

Dumbo in an interesting spot. His 2018 between World Championships was fairly horrific so he's not defending much in 2020. He was 54th seed at the PC Finals that year and won a grand total of 7k in Europe.
Although he did win 16k from his GSoD QF having splattered in the 9er on Bunty. That was the one and only highlight really.

Re: Tour Card Race For 2020
His failures since the Worlds have been amplified by a few on here, but he's having a quietly successful year. 30th on the OoM for the year (a grim 42nd last year), which may not sound all that, but his horrendous end to last season meant he missed out on a Blackpool £10k. Dare I say he's finally got the hang of the tour, should get to Dublin and Gottingen, and very well placed for Blackpool 2020Rogg wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2019 7:31 pmDumbo in an interesting spot. This list being as volatile as always so I wouldn't read too much into this, but it is interesting to see that de Sousa is now in line to be the 3rd best of this year's Q-School crop

Big Jose on fire. Yet how unhappily we remember oche's nasty dismissal of the finished Euro Q-School OoM.
Could he be guilty of dimissing players simply because he'd never heard of them? How are proper BDO titans McGeeney, Whitehead and Baker getting along compared to Jose?

Chuffed for Jose. I said back in January that him and Razma are the two to watch from the Euro lads.

Krzysztof Ratajski is now within striking distance of the Top 16 after Ally Pally, which would get him a debut in Milton Keynes for the PDC Masters.

Think it's fair to say he can play on a stage now! Imagine how high he'll end up if he can go on some runs on TV!
