I had to set up my daughter's new lap top on Tuesday and it's fucking horribly long winded, totally unfriendly and no start button. I can't see any firms updating their operating systems from Windows 7 to this piece of shit

I have spent the last two weeks trying to set up and transfer all data to my laptop running Windows 8.

No start button and tiles and screens appearing all over. Invisible button pressing and dragging and pushing.
Bag of wank. Utter shite.

I don't get the need to make everything touchscreen. Touchscreen software is much worse.

Give it 10 years and we won't have anymore touchscreens because (and I'll try and dumb this down for you nomads) the stuff it is made from is running out, and it is special so it can do the job that nothing else is special enough to do, apart from one very special thing, but that very special thing is only in the infancy, and hasn't had a lot of people thinking about it.
