See my op mate. Under today's laws I could well have been put on the register but in my defence I was young as well.

At the age of 15 I got a girl pregnant, and paid for a private abortion so none of our parents found out. It was a totally different era which needs to be taken into consideration as well.

I remember Hammy at 16 going out with a 15 year old and I warned him not to shag her because of the possible consequences. In my day that wouldn't have mattered.

The girls that were abused were and are a totally different matter. Whoever abused them deserve no better than castration with a very blunt knife

Completely different to 2 people shagging of similar ages and dirty speedos using their position to abuse minors.

i was 16 and my first serious girlfriend was only 15 suppose i could of got done as well.

but seriously i dont put that anywhere near the same bracket as a

30-40 year old shagging or touching a 9-11 year old

Totally mate and I wouldn't dispute that in any way.

The problem was that young girls (looking way older) threw themselves at these so called stars and the so called stars took the bait. Jail bait we called it in the early eighties as I remember.

Any so called star that even touched an obvious child in an inappropriate way as I said deserves pain. Huge pain

You can't compare a 16 year old boy to a 30 or 40 year old who abuses his position or celebrity status to take advantage of an underage child.

I'm not mate.

What I'm saying is a load of the teenage girls at the time looked way older than their years and threw themselves at these so called stars. A lot of these so called stars weren't much older themselves and the culture was totally different.

There's a difference between an obvious kid being abused and a teenager dropping her knickers and offering herself.

Where there's been abuse, whoever abused should rightly be brought to trial but there has to be a modicum of common sense involved.
