The car just passed it's MOT without any advisories, and it only cost £28

can relate to this martin . my alfa 156 insurance was due and company i was with wanted to charge £440
i compared the meerkat and got it down to £240 and am getting a free meerkat toy which ill sell on ebay
also took my car for mot last friday and 3rd year in a row it passed with no advisories , only things ive ever done is put a new battery in , a new windscreen and 2 new tyres
oh and i change oil once a year
touch wood best 900 i ever spent on that car

I've had this Rover since day one mate, the day after delivery Rover went bust and the value halved! Apart from that it's cost a battery, a set of tyres and normal servicing in seven years

new car mh ??? u lose 1/3 as soon as u take it out of showroom
your car insrance still sounds expensive though , presume thats the area you live in as cant believe your rovers a higher group than mine
you should try saga insurance

Ha ha you twat. Yes anywhere in London's more expensive than most even with the tracker fitted.
Before that I had a brand new X Type Jag which I kept for three years, lovely motor but only 300 miles a tank round town. The Rover does 450 plus

another con is that autoglass repair bollocks
when my window cracked they wanted £440 , windscreens direct man came and done it for £119
no wonder our insurance is dear if the firms are using them cunts

I'm shocked and stunned at the cost of tires now. Replaced all 4 of mine in the last 6 months at an approx cost of £150 a corner

I've had it up to 130mph on the M6 toll, don't think there was much left if anything
