learning to practice is fine sober, just nerves destroy me when playing so needed the edge,
wanted to have the season off so i could sort it properly but have only had the bare amount every week, so have had to play
and am 16 and 0 so far

That's impressive mate, I don't think I ever won more than four on the bounce when I played league darts

Lost 2-1, struggled a little. Missed D36 for 101 but hit next dart to make it 1-1. Last leg I was way behind but hit 125 followed by 171 to leave 24 but never got a shot at it. I'll be lucky if I make the end of the year

That's a bit extreme, don't do it Grazer.

In the context of many religions it's seen as a terrible sin and you can't get a religious burial. God chooses when you go based on an omniscient master plan for the best of all possible worlds (cf Leibniz), not you in reaction to being shit at darts.

Not going to that extreme J Y lol just self pitying, I've gone backwards with my darts and its been like this for a while

Team won 7-2 but my own performance was woeful yet again. I face some hard choices (yes, it's another self pitying rant)

you went to bed early i was up drinking wth the viper till 3am

If early is gone midnight I'll live with it mate. My last memory was after the cab dropping you in town and waiting for me to get the ritual dogmeat he tried to charge me £20 even though he took me to the wrong hotel miles away. I paid him a fiver and told him to fuck off.

The dogmeat stank when I woke up next morning!

I don't know if it was because I knew I was only playing in the pairs, or that I knew my partner in the pairs is a very good player and would hit the big scores or that we were 5-1 up by the time we played but last night, for the first time in a long time, I went into a game feeling under no pressure.

Lost the bull but kicked off with a 100, followed it up with a 60 and 85 then missed tops for 72 out, my partner taking double 10 after hitting back to back tons. 2nd leg started with a 123, followed it up with a 140, my partner chipping in with 85 and 100. I missed tops again for 70 out, he missed 3 darts at D10 I then hit it at first attempt.

Felt good to actually play some decent darts last night. Now trying not to over-analyse and just repeat the performance tonight

Good stuff Grazer, well done. I have to say I like reading about other peoples darting exploits, it's not all about watching the big boys on the box.

Well that was one of my better performances. 7 or 8 ton plus scores over 3 legs, could have hit 3 180's if i kept the third dart straight and checked out 109 to win the match

First game for a new team is one I always dread, especially if I'm coming over with a reputation. First time I ever won a first game for a new team was for my super league team this season! And then did it again for the new county team, didn't play well in either game though!

Depends what reputation. Mine was getting incredibly drunk and abusive.
