Got some experience of playing in these sort of things through the UK Open Qualifiers and also the Winmau World Masters England Play Offs

One good bit of advice, watch your Alcohol intake, also you really have to have self belief, regards of who you are playing

The major difference between this event and any other "Open" is that its up to you to be ready for your match. You will register when you enter and then the draw will be put up on a wall along with it being on a few tv screens.

Its then up to you to find your board and be ready for your match. Every 4 boards has a official looking after it but unless he knows you or your a "known" player he wont come looking for you, he will give you 5 minutes and thats it so keep your eyes pealed. Also because the room is set out for 16 boards for the weekend events, last year Barnsley had 8 boards in another place of the venue if 24 boards are needed but I guess the officials will help you out on where to go there.

There is usually a good few practice boards set up and enough seating but remember this isnt a normal PDC event. The PDC cater for 100-150 entrants in the UK at the minute and 250 is expected to enter this event so expect it to be crammed.
