Tough to make just 1 list as some players are just jobbers on TV all the time, while some choke at clutch moments. Some players scoring goes in crucial legs and some players doubling goes. Some only job in Finals. I don't think one list can cover all bases but here goes.

Tony O'Shea
Ian White
Dave Chisnall
Justin Pipe
Mervyn King
Terry Jenkins
Joe Cullen

My personal qualification for this will be players who won floor events and qualified for loads on TV without making a Major TV final. With that clarified my 10

1. White
2. Pipe (Really surprised not many mentioned him)
3. Caven
4. Andy Smith
5. Ovens ( Even though I really like him)
6. Keegan Brown
7. Heta (Yes I know h won a WSOD event and the WCOD but still no singles major TV final has potential to move up higher and challenge White for top spot if he doesn’t make one)
8. Callan Rydz
9. Benito van de Pas
10. Darren Webster
Team Corvid 2025 consists of the following 12 players.

Clayton, Littler, Gilding, De Sousa, Wright, Evans, Campbell, Scutt, Lauby, Rob Owen, Patrick Geeraets and Justin Hood.

For the list of players who have made loads of TV finals but failed to win anything I would instead propose the term TV bottlers.

Mini Webster is a good call, had forgotten him.

Players who are really good for a short time then turn to shit like Benito shouldn't be included imo.

That was 2019. I don't think it was on TV anywhere, wasn't it just streamed?

Heta is definitely a good shout for the player whose level drops most when going from the floor to TV, up with White, Pipe and Rydz in that regard.

Mark Walsh another one in that category

I can't tell you newer names as almost all have been mentioned already, but you left Mark Walsh, another big tv jobber.

Vincent van der Voort has to be pretty close to the ultimate jobber. Only made a uk open final and barely gets past a quarter final in 15/20 years

Fitton actually held the world's highest televised average for years interestingly.

Graham Stoddard, Tom Kirby and Dave Kelly are more early WDC players who weren't very good.

For the amount of times his mates like Harrington would fluff him up as a 'good floor player' only for him then to average about 85 and go out in the second round, I'd nominate Andy Jenkins. One WC semi which could disqualify him I suppose but someone else has nominated Dave Askew who did the same thing, getting to a semifinal and bending over for Taylor.
