If a non eligible participants wins they just don't get the prize as far as I recall

Spot on, won the Worlds comp at the start of this year but didn’t get the darts. Don’t have enough time to continually post on the forums, just like to take part in the comps for fun every now and again!!

Playing the comps is much appreciated. A lot of energy is being put into running them so the more participants, the better.

I for one really appreciate the time taken to organise them and update the leaderboard as quick as is done, grand job

If they don't have 50+ non comp posts you don't get any prize so I don't see the issue. People are still entitled to play for fun if they wish.
