Re: Nathan Aspinall fan club
Morning Malt
I have made a decision and no, it has nothing to do with last night's performance. i will not be joining the fan club.
I like Asp but I don't love him. He's not a Team Thorn member.
I will be supportive of the fan club and making posts in the thread but I am not signing up as an official member.
There are more deserving hardcore Asp fans to carry the flag of the fan club.
Cheers,
Thorn

Re: Nathan Aspinall fan club
Can judge him by a bad performance in a pointless exbo if you want but the guy won the matchplay playing very well all tournament. Wasn’t Taylor or Wright levels when they won the matchplay but he didn’t have to be, and anyway he’s never going to be the kind of player to average 105 for a tournament, normally he battles through games with a high 90s and it’s usually enough

Thanks Malt. It's good to see more fan clubs opening up and I will still support Asp on a lot ot occasions. May the membership thrive and the post count growTheMalteseDart wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 9:56 amI am sad to hear this news Thorn but completely respect the decision, we will be flying the flag for him for years to comeThe Thorn wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 8:07 am Morning Malt

So the matchplay win hasn’t helped his cause at all?

Apologies Senna but that's shoddy work, why is my head so distorted?
