His form at the time on that 2001 embassy was outstanding. Unfortunately doesn't get the credit it deserves as the field that year was dreadful
Would he have ground him down like Duzza?
Not at the time, though he'd give him a game. 00-01 Taylor was unbelieveable in majors. Big shame Walton never switched to be honest.

I was a bit surprised by how well Wallace & Grom- Walton emerged from this. Beaton too actually.
While It must say something that the bearded fraud never even properly ripped up a piss palace.

Had Tricole won that last set he'd barely be ranked above a child John Part under the darkness of raw split horrors and using a dartboard half the size. Suddenly I'm the segment police too, how convenient.
We are in the sewer at this point. I dislike Duff and regard his title as sludge. With respect of course.

Yes 90.52 is his average of averages to bring him in line with the rest of this list.

Indeed, just demonstrating Oche's desperation to get his real average on here wont affect much

I expect his method will be to nail the 90.60 beautifully to throw us off the scent while adding 6 to all the others.

Haha. Taylor's 2001 World Championship average of averages was 100.89, with the higher averages being in the longer matches. 107.46 in the final. Walton's biggest strength in 2001 was his finishing, and Taylor was at a 72% checkout rate in the final against Part.
