I think Dimi comes across as exceptionally grounded, patient and just grateful. The total opposite of entitled. We've seen what stroppy manchildren look like when they play darts.

Also the stop after he throws of he hits the double, the blank stare down the camera. So arrogant to me anyway and not in the charismatic way either, like Bristow for example.

With Bristow he'd look in the camera or laugh in opponents' faces and he was being a cunt, but a funny loveable one. Dimitri isn't the same.

Dimitri also has this "polite young man" persona despite having shenanigans onstage with at least two different players, albeit one being the incident-magnet Snackpot.

If you're thinking self-entitled, there is no greater culprit in the darts world right now than Raymond van Barneveld.

He is a legend and I still support him but he's been on the silver spoon. From demanding invites to competitions and the lap of luxury for "putting darts on the map" in Europe to criticising the Dutch for not acknowledging him etc. The self-entitlement was rancid before he quit in 2019.

Others still playing that would be also be guilty in my opinion are- Bellyboy, Gurney (feels like ages since he's been on), Humphries and Steve West. Kim Huybrechts is also a massive bellend in that department.

Agree and I don't see it with Hopp either. Both pretty much great for the image of the game.

I agree with Safc on Dimi's calming down and breathing nonsense but he seems to have mostly cut that out and gets on with it much more than he used to.

Have we seen the last of Durrant in the PL or do we think winning it gets you in for at least 2-3 years?
